Lost all of my bookmarks. Error message reads: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have been a Firefox user for years and years. I am having to leave because I cannot resolve this new issue. Can you help?

Using Firefox--When I try to access the daily set of images that comes in an email representing memories for this day which is pulled from my Onedrive Photos, all I get is a dark blank screen with a subtle pulsing wave as if it is searching.

I get the same thing when I go directly to my OneDrive Photos and try to pull up the daily photos there.

However, changing browsers and using Google Chrome--I can view the images in the memory email as well as those on my OneDrive directly

What does Chrome do that Firefox is not?

I recently had another browser related issue on a different problem trying to register online with Directv which would not complete with Firefox but when I used Google Chrome instead of Firefox, it worked.

This made me wonder if the above OneDrive image problem might be browser issue. Sure enough, it was.

I really prefer Firefox and I do not want to have to go to Chrome.

When you click the link about someone not trusting Chinese or Russian CA's the page automatically switches the first row of suggested articles and much of the other info (like the thumbs up & down box) to Russian (and it may continue in Russian when you go to another page because it's switching the preferred language choice box).

It's giving the middle finger at those who need info about untrusted CA's and happen to click on it.

The question is from 10 yrs ago but the problem is current.

It can take many closing clicks to get rid of this warning and comes back again after a short while. What should I do? Tried searching with Malwarebytes itself and found no problems. Web search the same.

I am having trouble with Firefox that's very odd: the tabs keep overlapping and I am not able to click on links.

It keeps happening randomly and I have no idea why!

I've attached a screen grab so you can see what I mean.

When this happens I have to close down the tabs in question and then reopen them.

Never had this issue before.

Problem: in meiner Excel Tabelle werden ständig Hyperlinks aktiviert. - obwoh das Seitens Excel dekaktiviert wurde.

Die Fehlermeldung lautet: dass der verwendete Brower externe Quellen zuläßt. Wenn es nicht möglich ist, dieses zu ändern, muß ich einen anderen Browser verwenden.

Has any body else found Firefox relay to be mostly useless? I put up with the annoyance for a few days and then had to get rid of it.

I did use it once to get past the id page for a purchase just to look at the freight cost. Too much, so the tab was closed straight away and the masked email did not leave my computer.

The problem is that signing up to new accounts or providing your email online is something that is done only very rarely compared to the number of times your email has to be used to login to an existing account but relay has to be in the way every time.

Just a hint to the developers, those accounts already have my email and they will never lose them. Also if I need to use my email to sign in, giving a mask email is not going to work very well.

Relay is a great idea if only it could determine the right time to get in the way.

Firefox ignores my setting for English language. It decides to use the language of the country that I am traveling in. I tried to go to settings and make English my language. Firefox ignores the settings. It loads pages in languages that I do not understand. How can I make Firefox use English if it is already set to English in the Settings?

I bookmarked a page of a website today and when I attempted to bookmark another I was unable to do so. I checked the troubleshooting advise here and I tried to restore my bookmarks to an earlier date, but that attempt failed. After that, all my bookmarks disappeared and I'm unable to bookmark anything at this point.

I've attached a screenshot of what it says in the Places Database.

My husband and I both use Firefox as our default browser. His macbook air did an auto update of his firefox and now he has no bookmarks, no search history and none of his many open windows are there. He has to file his timesheets tonight so we can get paid in a month's time. What help can you offer? I am an online Spanish teacher, and I have been having some trouble. I use Google Meet and a page called Preply to do my classes. When I share my screen, my students can hear any audio (if I am sharing a YouTube video or an audio recording I've made). I don't see any options to allow my audio to be shared, and it's not a Google Meet or Preply problem because as soon as I use Opera or Google, it works. I am not sure what to do
