I added the chat function to Thunderbird via IRC. The only way I can see if there's a new chat is when I have Thunderbird up on my screen and I look at the Chat button at the top next to Address Book. If I have another program up on the screen (i.e. MS Excel) I don't see that I have a new chat even though Thunderbird is still up and running. How do I get new chat messages to pop up in the lower, right corner like my new emails do?
