i like having the menu bar on the firefox desktop, but i hate the way it has been set out. if you enable the menu bar, then it reduces the effective area available for viewing a web page. please don't copy google chrome's layout, chrome is a lousy browser. the old firefox layout is better than the new one. if you guys can't help me then i will simply use the older (3.6) version of firefox. thankyou for your time.

thank you very very much! i love firefox 6 now! it looks like the old firefox! (more or less). it's not that i'm resistant to change, rather that the new layout is harder to use in a "badly designed smart-phone" kind of way. i don't like having to look for the things i use all the time.

anyway, thanks for your help! kind regards, peter bell
