I'm trying to set-up Thunderbird on a new computer (Windows 11). I've copied all the account settings exactly as in my previous computer (Windows 10) and yet TB still fails to connect the the server. What can I try next ?

Please provide a screenshot of the error message. Some email providers need for you to add the new equipment into your list of trusted machines.
