The new version keeps asking me for my master password even though I've previously put it in. What changed with the latest version (132.0)?

Master password in relation to the Browser?

The primary password for the saved passwords. Keeps popping up even after I've input the master password.

That's for sync AFAIK and Firefox password manager doesn't use login to see the password on the browser. Are you sure your not trying to sign in to Firefox account? That's the only place something would popup. Turn off sync and start your Firefox again and see what that does. Otherwise you will have to reset your Firefox sync password if that's what it is.

This is what I'm repeatedly asked for, after the update to 132.

That screenshot looks more like for a website then something akin to coming from the Browser itself. What site or homepage is your Browser set to?

It's the browser. Can't you see it says "Password required - Mozilla Firefox"?

What URL and or page is Browser set to?

Are you from Mozilla or another user? It's random.

I have the same issue. The master password prompt pops up randomly on various sites. It even happens when watching videos and not doing anything else.

It is getting rather annoying. It has been happening for the past week and a half.

I have a similar experience since the last update (136.0). Primary Password request comes up when I launch the browser. My home screen is a blank page. I do not use Sync. Besides annoying, it seems like kind of a security risk when I'm using Firefox to browse sites that to not involve personal information & don't feel the need to close it when I'm away from the computer.

Probably it's bug 1946121.
