How do I turn off those annoying "update available" notifications/reminders that keep popping up? I've gone into Settings, and in the Updates section firefox only let's me select auto updates or check for updates. I searched online but couldn't seem to find anything about how to disable the notifications all together with the newer version of FF. It's driving me crazy, thinking of switching browsers because of this. Thanks in advance!

Any reason for not updating to the latest version 125.0.3?

FF changes my settings with every update. One wouldn't let me stream videos, another stopped the video if I clicked out of the window, one killed the sound on my netflix previews and I still haven't been able to enable it back. FF was working really well for me, but lately the updates take away or change the features I like and are an inconvenience.

This is only a minor update to address some reported issues.

Thanks, I'm not using Nord VPN though. Also the pop ups on my browser are telling me there's an update available and asking if I want to install it. There used to be a button to click in settings/notifications/update where you could just turn off auto checking for updates. Now the only options are 'auto update' or deciding when to update on your own-- can't turn off notifications about new updates anymore..

I like to keep my software up to date but I find the frequency of update notifications annoying. I've had two in the the last few days. I agreed to "download but not update", so there is no need to keep pestering me, thank you; I'll update when I'm ready.
