Unstable website lock
Why does Firefox continually revert backwards and not stay on the website I have been on?? I have cleared all history and cache and it continues to jump around and in and out of decent websites!! Even ones that I am actually signed into, Amazon, credit unions, financial sites, etc, etc Even my home page Fox News will not hold a story open many times!! I have run my anti-virus and malware bytes scans numerous times with nothing coming up...I need a fix or I will go elsewhere for browsing!!

Are you possibly pressing the backspace key ?
You can inspect/modify the backspace action via the the about:config page.
- about:config => browser.backspace_action => 2 (0:Back/Forward; 1:PgUp/PgDn; 2:Nothing)
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. On the warning page, you can click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
That is a ridiculous answer!! No I do not press the backspace key!! Your browser was actually reverting me back to my home page and dropping me out of my email as I was trying to read this response, took me four tries to be able to type this answer and send!!! Give me a fix or I'm gone and you will not be very happy with the reviews of Firefox or Mozilla that I write and send out!!
What kind of device do you have and does it have a touchpad to scroll ?
It is a desk to0p PC with no scroll or touch pad.
