Email Link... is still in the File menu.

Firefox doesn't have (and never did have) the ability to email a webpage, although there used to be an extension or two that added that feature to Firefox; albeit, that was quite a few years ago.

As far as emailing a "bookmark", a bookmark is simply a hyperlink to a webpage' "Email Link..." cover that.

Firefox's Email Link feature has code that works with local email programs on your computer, and with some popular websites like Gmail and Yahoo! mail. If you aren't using one of those, you probably need a little help setting up Firefox to talk to your mail site. Do you want to mention which one it is?

Hi, and thanks for the response. I use Thunderbird with Google.co.uk as the home page. Formerly, and for many years the email envelope emblem was in the tool bar at the top of the page but following the upgrade the whole tool bar was missing. The applications panel does not have an email facility.

There are two ways to use the built-in Email Link feature:

(1) File menu -- if you do not normally display the menu bar, you can tap the Alt key or press F10 to display it temporarily.

(2) Email Link icon -- by default, this isn't on any bar, you could find it in the collection of unused buttons in the Customize tab. See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If your Bookmarks Toolbar is not displayed, you can turn that back on. Use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:

• right-click a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
• tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > View > Toolbars
• in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list. Same to turn a bar off.
