history 'most recent visit' not showing year anymore

only date day and time. i need the year. it used to have that until recently. attached image is not last year's september. even if it was. need the whole date.

thank you both so much for a quick response to a first-time poster, i didn't expect that!

firefox indeed uses windows 'short date' format, so if i change it in the ancient date & time 'app' to, for example, M/d/yyyy, ff history will also show the year.

and might there not be some magic trick whereby ff could show the year but i could still have short-date format without it, for taskbar declutter? by having ff use long date instead of short, for instance.
