Firefox has stopped working with my VPN

When I try to use firefox, the pages won't load. If I turn off my VPN, everything works like it should. I've been using Firefox and using the VPN for years, so this is a new problem, I think less than a week old. How can I use firefox with my VPN? Thank you, Steve
