Does FF save text used repeatedly? Such as answers to common questions...
FF 115.02 Win11
I fill in many repeated responses, such as DOB, zip code, etc. I was using Edge for a while and have forgotten the benefits of FF. Does it remember? Can I edit or delete the ones that are no longer relevant or have changed - age, for instance?
Thank you.

I did not do it that way, intentionally. How do I fix it and avoid it in the future?
I understand that this extension does what you want. I haven't used it.

Mozilla Firefox does not have a built-in feature to save text used repeatedly, such as answers to common questions. However, you can make use of various tools and techniques to achieve this functionality. Browser Extensions: There are several browser extensions available that can help you save and manage frequently used text snippets. Extensions like "Copyfish" or "Copy Paste Pro" allow you to store and retrieve text snippets easily. Clipboard Managers: Using a clipboard manager tool can be helpful in storing and accessing frequently used text snippets. These tools keep a history of your copied items, allowing you to quickly retrieve and paste them whenever needed. Examples of clipboard managers include Ditto, ClipClip, or ClipX.
The one that looked most promising was removed from the internet.
I am using Clippings but it is not very good.
Thank you.

Hey, cor-el,
Long time! Hope you are well. I know it saves some words, numbers, but I have forgotten how to do anything, if I even used form fill. Will check it out. It was on by default.
Now to figure out how to delete stuff. Are you sure this is for words, dates, numbers, etc.?
Thank you.

This is only for simple (single line) input fields. You can search the Add-ons website for a suitable autofill extension.

My need is for single line responses. But repeatedly used on different websites.
I looked in extensions and did not find a description i thought would work. Maybe I need a better descriptor for my search. What would it be called?
Thank you
