firefox stops loading pages

Hello, I updated win 10 to version 15063 Everything is working fine but as I'm browsing pages all of a sudden everything stops loading. And is like that for a few minutes during which time I can open other browsers and they are working. The problem resolves itself after a few minutes or immediately if I restart Firefox. I tried refreshing firefox. I tried reinstalling it. Nothing worked. I can't help but think it has something to do with the new win build. Could it be some kind of software conflict. I am using firefox 53.0.3 64bit. Please help. Thank you!

I also noticed that during the time it's not working it loads the CPU a lot. It seems to be processing something which blocks it from loading pages for about 3 minutes or so.
