Several days ago a trio of "warnings" all labeled Mozilla Firefox popped up on my monitor. They included "Critical Error! Remove viruses now", "Warning! Virus Detected Clean Your Device" (with the choice of Renew Now {? renew what?} or Update Windows), "Warning! Your system is damaged by virus attack via d9BvqdcBn2sc73dc4btg.korvapod.co.in Remove the virus now", "Trojan Detected! (choose Remove virus now or Quick Scan), and variations on all of the above. I ran a malware scan from another provider and their advice was that this was an attempted hack so under no circumstances should I click on anything. They definitely said it wasn't from Mozilla Firefox. BUT they also couldn't find any traces anywhere in my computer. So for the past 5 days, I've been functioning with a partial screen, maybe 3/5 of full screen, because those darned "warnings" cannot be physically moved off the screen. How can I get rid of this mess? Thanks.

I want to add Browser Guard to my Malwarebytes installation but when I click to download it for Firefax I get a message: "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing." But then I can't download thi feature. What is going wrong?

Just recently I changed my privacy settings to take advantage of the privacy opt-out option for websites not to share my data or information. I went to my AMX credit card account and now every time I move to a new page the message, "Your Global Privacy Control opt-out signal has been honored" pops up and gets in the way of the information on the page. I am constantly having to click on the X in the corner to close the message box. Once would be enough for each main website. Having it pop up every time is absolutely annoying. I like having this option but if it's going to make me have to close the informational box every time I move to a new page or back to a former page, then I will have to undo the choice. The web designer who put this message text into the Firefox browser needs to find a way to only have it pop up once if they feel it is really necessary to tell me that they are blocking information from other companies. I really don't even need the first message just as long as it works behind the scenes. I hope someone gets web support to look into this issue. It's just so annoying.

Earlier. I purchased the annual subscription for Mozila's VPN. But after finding out it impacted my browser's performance negatively, I tried to cancel it. It got cancelled. But I haven't been refunded yet, and noticed that the card number on the receipt is completely different than the one I used, in fact. None of my cards have the number shown.

When I use my bank's desktop website, I can use all services on the site except when I request a Proof of Payment. I can do it using Edge. How to fix in Firefox?

I have also entered the bank's websites (http version and https version) on the allowed websites section in Firefox settings. What else must I turn on or off?

I am watching a movie and would like to use Picture-in-Picture mode so I can continue watching while working, thanks to its floating window feature. However, I can no longer use it.

I have already tried clicking the Picture-in-Picture icon on the video, using the Ctrl + Shift + ] shortcut, and verifying that the feature is enabled under Settings > Tabs and Browsing > Media. Unfortunately, none of these methods worked.

I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue as soon as possible. Aside from its extension support, Picture-in-Picture is one of the main reasons I chose Mozilla Firefox.

I rely on Firefox entirely for my business. I'm really concerned that Firefox is become choked up - it is really slow to load pages. Am desperate to get it cleaned up ('serviced' so to speak) but am finding it difficult to get simple instructions to do this myself. Where can I get expert help?

About a week ago, I started using VPN Beta, and it worked fine. When I clicked the button at the top of the browser, it prompted me to sign in. I signed in, and the VPN turned on, and everything worked. Incidentally, it kept asking me to sign in, even though I wasn't using private windows or anything. So, I had to restart VPN Beta every time, even though I'd already done so. Basically, now I can't even start. They're trying to block such services in Russia, and apparently your site, mozilla.org, was caught in the crossfire, and I don't know what to do. Your built-in VPN was convenient enough that I could just turn it on for a few seconds to access a blocked site, rather than mess around with VPN clients. Perhaps if my Mozilla account never crashed and I didn't have to log in every time, this problem wouldn't exist, and I could activate the VPN right away, without logging in through a blocked site, since I'm sure the server itself is working. Maybe this can be done through the settings somehow? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am unable to view old payment methods in order to delete them. When I go to Settings, Passwords and Autofill, Payment Methods, Manage Payment Methods, I can only add new methods. The old methods do not show up, i.e. the list is blank. I have many old payment methods that I'd like to delete that show up in drop-down when I click in a credit card number field. I am facing a glitch that is as hilarious as it is frustrating. Firefox has decided that my professional life must permanently take place under a massive, virtual Apple Park Rainbow. And I cannot turn it off.

The Tragic Backstory: This is the system-level macOS camera background. Usually, you disable it via the green camera icon ("pill") in the macOS menu bar. However, the moment Firefox accesses my FaceTime HD camera, the macOS camera menu completely freezes. It becomes unclickable.

What I’ve tried so far (and failed):

   Google Meet says "No effects applied". It has no idea the rainbow is even there.

   I used "Refresh Firefox" to completely wipe my profile. The rainbow survived.

   I forcefully revoked camera permissions via Terminal (tccutil reset Camera org.mozilla.firefox). Upon granting permission again, the rainbow immediately returned from the dead.

   Restarted the Mac multiple times. No change.

   Even opening the native FaceTime app to override the toggle failed, because Firefox seems to have locked the video pipeline down.

It seems Firefox is caching or hard-locking the macOS video effect stream and won't release it, while simultaneously breaking the OS-level menu bar toggle.

I love rainbows, but my clients during business calls are starting to wonder about my sanity. How do I force Firefox to drop this video stream and let me return to reality?

I have been trying to trouble shoot, checking my volume settings, disabling ad blocker, etc, but nothing is helping.

I tested the URL in TOR and Chrome browsers which I installed on my laptop, the audio works AOK on those.

FF has been my browser of choice since it was launched, so I'd really appreciate if someone can suggest what the Audio issue might be.
