So i can not open up a youtube video i click on the thumbnail and nothing happens. Ive been working with chatgpt with this promblem and it still hasnt worked. I have factory rested my whole destop didnt help. it works in troubleshoot mode but not in the main one i had the problem on google chrome and i switched to firefox nothing changed and am frustrated I need help talking with chatgpt for 3 hours didnt work.

For at least a year now the download links on most websites and emails do not work when using Firefox. I must use a different browser to complete a download. After clicking on a download link, Firefox will act like it is going to start the download but then acts as if the link is being blocked. I have to use a different browser like Zen or DuckDuckGo to do the download. I have checked the settings and nothing has changed from the initial setup done years ago. This started happening several updates ago and has not improved but only gotten worse with each new update. As of now I can only use Firefox to download links from about 1 in 50 websites. There's not much sense in using Firefox as my default browser if I have to use another browser to download link contents from websites or my emails.

Recently I am facing this weird issue where every time I open FireFox, all my previous tabs are gone and it starts with a fresh window.

This happens even after the Account Syncing is turned ON under "Accounts And Sync" and "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked under the "Home and Startup" settings.

Hope someone can help me out as it is very frustrating to open the same tabs again and again!

I recently updated to Firefox 158.0 on my MacOS, which is on OS 27.0.1 and all of a sudden, my Prime Video home page won't play videos. It just shows the spinny circle where I should be able to hit play, and in fact I cannot click on anything on the page. I can close it and open amazon again, but as soon as I go to Prime Video, it freezes up. I've tried deleting cookies and clearing the cache, restarting my Mac, but nothing seems to help.

The top row in Firefox browser doesn't have any tabs, it looks as pictured in screenshot (Chrome below for comparison). I only see the icon and text for a page, but that isn't enough to know clickable area, and it makes it unintuitive.

I tried several browser themes but none of them changes this. There doesn't seem to be a setting for hardware acceleration anymore that used to solve it for some users in the past based on a search on topic.

Maybe this really is how it's meant to look but the design just went backwards from what we want to see; tabs are no longer tabs but something vague. Can never please everyone i suppose, but i want old back.

I recently updated my primary email address in my Mozilla/Firefox account, and deleted the secondary email address. But while some of your emails are coming to the new address (hc3baldwin@gmail.com), some are still being sent to the old address (chuckbaldwin@juno.com), then Juno forwards them to the new Gmail address. The header info shows that they came via Juno. I don't understand why all references to the old Juno address haven't been deleted from my account.
