For the last two days, every time I start Thunderbird, a pop-up requests me to log in into Google Calendar. I have followed what little advice I can find:

• Unsubscribed/deleted all calendars
• Deleted all Gmail Accounts
• Deleted all saved passwords, and re-entered them only for my current email accounts.

How do I get rid of this irritating and unnecessary pop-up? I have updated to v128.14 but the problem persists.

The system was working fine. The next day, when starting Thunderbird (TB, the status line shows logging in to server but loops; no errors or messages, Thunderbird is 'locked out' spinning. I see the normal INBOX page, but logging in never completes. NO CHANGES were made to TB accounts or settings. I have re-installed TB, re-booted, but no change. I cannot check/change any of the accounts or do any further 'debugging' because TB is spinning. The server login is fine because Webmail can be used. Internet connection is fine, because browser works. 1. How can I stop TB from trying to login at start up? 2. What could/would cause this behaviour?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I want to move email messages around in local folders, but "move" doesn't show even when enabled in settings when the account is POP3

However when using IMAP it is worse as the App keeps messing not only with the server messages an folders, but also with other devices.

The new government site bom.gov.au loads but flickering, it was working a few month ago but illegible now. Works fine in Private Mode and in MS Edge

last night when i closed the system down, i had 5 spacial tabs with names, and apx 50 other tabs open, come to start the system this morning.. all gone.. nothing.. just a new firefox.. all my history.. gone... this is not good, as the 5 spacial tabs that i had where from seriten sits that need to be their,and now.. just gone.. the lot... and all the setting are correct..

I searched throughout Thunderbird's settings to see where I could enlarge the font in the main screen where the list of emails are. I can't even Ctrl+ in this screen to enlarge it! Help! Eye Strains... Please see the paint screenprint.jpg. for illustration. Thank you! Marla

The details:

1.) After downloading the update, my antivirus scanner reports an infected file (see screenshots / message + path).

2.) When I try to “Restart Firefox to complete the update,” Firefox briefly “disappears” (whatever happens there) and then “reappears”—but the prompt “Restart Firefox to complete the update” is still there. Unfortunately, this can be repeated as many times as you like without anything changing.

3.) Restarting the computer (Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) does not resolve the issue either (see screenshot). I always performed previous updates before shutting down the computer—and the next day (since Firefox, as expected, had been closed and restarted), the updated version of Firefox was running.

4.) The suggested solution is to download the “Firefox installer.” But that doesn’t help me, since I need “Firefox DEVELOPER.”

Would uninstalling Firefox DEVELOPER and reinstalling it >WITHOUT DATA LOSS< be a solution??

I CANNOT log into my Facebook account since Firefox launched your VPN. I didn't sign UP for the VPN but I'm troubleshooting and the VPN launch happened at the same time I was denied access to Facebook. Can you FIX this problem????? It is infuriating!!!! I can SEE the page and friends can SEE the page which means it hasn't be LOCKED or deleted. I just can't access my own page - not with my phone # or email. I have been working on this since SUNDAY and I am the Press/Media liaison for a number of organizations. This SNAFU is going to get me fired if I can't get back on social media! There's GOT to be someone in your organization who can connect me with an actual human being to FIX THIS!!! PLEASE

Hello, I have Firefox for Android 151.0.4 on a Samsung A50 with Android 9. On the SD card of the device I have several pdf files which can be opened with Adobe Acrobat with no problems. Instead, when I go to the device's file manager, move to that SD card, long-tap on one of those pdf files, tap on the three dots to see more options, choose "Open with" and finally select Firefox, I have that Firefox opens with a "File not found" page and the address bar shows, for instance "content://media/external/file/22098" while the pdf file I tried opening is "/SD Card/Test.pdf".

Is it possible to open local pdf files on my device with Firefox for Android? In the positive case, how can I do it in my case?

I have installed Firefox VPN, but it is disabled by default so I have to enable it whenever I use it . How can I change the default setting to make it on by default
