A couple of times my mouse has slid off onto the floor. The browser closed immediately. Tonight I had my hand on the mouse and moved it and the browser closed. I connected these two events, but perhaps they are not related. None of these 3 times did I get a message that the browser had crashed, and it easily opened again on my home page.

I have Firefox 21 on Windows 7. My wireless mouse is from Logitech.

I have never had this Firefox browser shutdown problem before.

Check the options you may have for your wireless mouse (SetPoint, if I remember correctly for keyboard/mouse combination), or even better, replace it for the time being with a PS2/usual mouse, to see if it helps.
