I keep getting 2 pop-up messages on the KeeFox toolbar that I can't stop.

I can't stop 2 messages from popping up...these appear every few minutes of being online with firefox (17.01), keefox (1.1.3), and keepass (?), Win7 (64 bit). I've gone into the options page and changed all of those setting (for messages), but the settings keep returning to the defaults, and I keep getting the pop-ups. I've tried "Rating", "changing message settings," and "don't show message again", and closing toolbar with "x". Messages: 1. Help KeeFox.
