I want to replace the activity indicators (static and active) on Firefox 15.

The current indicators are difficult to see and I would like to replace them by two solid-colour squares, say one blue for inactive and one red for active. They would then be a lot more visible.

And they could then be tested with Autohotkey's PixelGetColor and similar functions.

Assuming you are referring to the "tab throbber" - here is a UserStyle which changes it. When there is no "progress" the image used i the Favicon for the website once it is completely loaded.

Use your own image if you wish.

If this isn't what you are referring to, please provide a screenshot.

OK, thanks.

But what I'm looking for is to represent progress not with animation, but with a change in color.

And I don't want any change on a per website basis, simply the same 2 images (one for progress and another for no progress) all the time.

Is this sort of thing possible?

I've attached the no-progress image that I have at present
