I need to make a presentation using firefox, I have never done this in any browser before so much in the dark. My first problem is; if I create this with firefox on my PC will it open OK on an apple mac

A bit ambiguous, but if the presentation is in HTML whether you download it or write it yourself, then it would be expected to work. You should test beforehand anyway even if both machines are running the same operating system, The keyboard shortcuts will be different from what you are used to between Windows systems and Mac systems.

If the download is Firefox, you would need to have the owner's permission to install Firefox to their machine; hopefully, you are not putting yourself into a bind on time constraints.

Hi dmcritchie thanks for that

I guess if i were asked to do it in internet explorer i would be using PDF's for text and would only need to find a solution to image and video perhaps links or something but as it is im totally out of my comfort zone. I dont know why I cant just use power point but there you go...

As for running on a different operating system, would expect the owner of the Mac would be at the controls to take directions next screen, previous screen, thumbnail view, index view, scroll down to next chapter.

PDF files are what Macs eat all the time. You can print to a PDF file from Windows, may need an application.

My presentation is for an interview so cant do anything about their end. If mac excepts PDF I think ill be ok...

thanks for your help
