I don't want firefox to take up my entire desktop when I open it
When I open Firefox, I want to have space on my desktop to also view my yahoo messenger. As it is now, Firefox takes up the entire desktop when open. Is there an adjustment for this?

Firefox should remember the last size of its window and re-open at that size. If the window is maximized, click the center button at the top right of the window title bar (button showing two overlapping boxes) to restore it so you can resize it using the drag handle at the lower right. If it still starts up maximized, then your desktop or menu shortcut may be set to start maximized. Right-click it and check its properties.
