Can't play mp4 anymor after upgrade to 156.0.2
I just upgraded Firefox to version 156.0.2.
It no longer plays mp4 content from a website. It says "No video with supported format and mime type found".
This used to be OK.

Hi drsdgr,
Since this started immediately after updating to Firefox 156.0.2, it would be useful to check whether the problem is specific to your Firefox setup or affects Firefox generally.
Could you try playing the same MP4 in Firefox Troubleshoot Mode? If it works there, an extension or hardware acceleration setting may be involved.
If it still gives “No video with supported format and MIME type found”, please let us know which operating system you're using and whether this happens with all MP4 videos or only on that particular website. That will help determine whether this is a Firefox media/codec issue or something specific to the website.

Hi Max,
Thanks for your reply. Your message was helpful. It turns out that the website was sending the data in text/plain format instead of video/mp4. Other browsers, including previous versions of Firefox, still recognize it as a video file and play it.
I guess the new version of Firefox has "fixed" a bug :-)
