Can I transfer my Mozilla Firefox bookmarks and settings from a Windows computer to a Linux computer?

I am moving away from Windows -- at least temporarily. I have purchased a Linux desktop CPU and would like to bring my Firefox bookmarks and settings. Is that possible? And secondly, I did have FIREFOX set up on this Linux, but something changed today -- it turned to all black and white, no color whatsoever. How can I get back to the page I set up?

Yes - this ist very easy possible. You can download Firefox for Linux, Mac, Windows, BSD...

Up in the right corner (almost) go to profile/ loggin, enter your e-mail (the one you have registered on the Mozilla website - if not, do so) and password and all your bookmarks, passwords, etc are in the next Firefox

Yes, you can transfer them. The cleanest way is Firefox Sync: sign in to the same Mozilla account on Windows and Linux, then enable bookmarks/settings/history as needed. If you prefer not to sync, copy the Firefox profile folder from Windows to Linux while Firefox is closed, or at least export bookmarks to HTML from Bookmarks > Manage bookmarks > Import and Backup.

For the black/white issue, first check Settings > General > Language and Appearance > Website appearance. If that is not it, open about:addons and disable themes/extensions temporarily, then restart Firefox. That separates a migrated profile setting from a Linux desktop/theme issue.
