Hi,

Unfortunately, websites can pretty easily detect that you are using VPN and block you in some cases. Particularly, BBC iPlayer tells that directly on their front page. For reference, here's the full message:

Sorry, BBC iPlayer isn’t available in your region. It looks like you’re outside of the UK. BBC iPlayer is only available in the UK. If you are using a proxy or VPN, please turn off any of these services and try again.

Also, Firefox should warn you that this site may not work with a VPN. Please pay attention to such warnings.

The good news is that you can make an exception for this website while keeping the VPN on for all the others. While visiting BBC iPlayer with the VPN on, just click the VPN icon in the toolbar and disable "Use VPN for this site" at the bottom. Alternatively, you can add the website to the exceptions in the VPN settings.
