Trying to remove Thunderbird. Windows add or remove programs isn't working. I'm trying Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter, which needs Thunderbird's product code.

I can't find it on the site. Can someone give me a hand?

Could you post a screenshot of that? To my knowledge, there is no product code needed for uninstall.

Thank you for responding. Please re-read my post carefully. It is a third part app that requires the product code. Can you furnish that?

From your link: “To access the code, you'll need a tool for reading MSI files, which is typically available to IT professionals. You'll find the product code in the property table of the MSI file.”

So you have the code.

No, Thunderbird has no product code. At least not one I have heard of in the 20 odd years I have been around the project and windows more generally.

You were having issues with Yahoo the last I saw of you, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1577327

What did Yahoo say about their server experiencing an error BTW.

I would guess they are not allowing further downloads in a 24 hour period because you have already consumed your daily allowance, but as Yahoo believe in "security through obscurity" they simply do not publish these sorts of pertinent details so folk outside of yahoo have to guess at the problem. Yahoo are the only ones with the real answer.
