ESET on macOS Tahoe 26 breaks Firefox ENTIRELY!
I have over 100 open tabs spread over 4 Mac desktops. I can no longer access ANY of them after upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26 and installing ESET Cyber Security Pro. I've used ESET with Firefox for many years without ANY problems. But now I have to choose between uninstalling ESET and being unprotected in order to use Firefox AT ALL. Every single webpage is blacked out with the message below. ESET support says that Firefox needs to issue an update to fix this problem.

Hi,
Could you please file a bug on Bugzilla, including all the details and the ESET support response (and then post the link here)? It would have been nice of ESET to inform Mozilla at least if they want their issue fixed.
If you're not comfortable with filing a bug, just let me know and I'll do that for you.
Also, to clarify, do the pages load with ESET disabled?
When ESET is uninstalled, Firefox works normally.
ESET tech support is blaming Firefox for the lack of compatibility in macOS Tahoe 26.
Hi,
From your error message, it appears you're using DNS over HTTPS. Could you please try disabling it and see if the problem persists?
I disabled it and restarted Firefox. Same error messages for every website.
Hi
I will admit that we have seen similar issues to this before involving Eset. It always seems to occur when there is either a new update to Firefox or a new operating system. I cannot confirm but it is possibly where their software is not being tested on pre-Release builds of Firefox, such as Beta and Nightly.

Thank you very much for trying! I've filed a bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1989880
