Apple's "Platform SSO" sort of works on FFox for Mac, but not on webapps fronted by Microsoft (e.g. sharepoint).

I'm on MacOS 15.6, and FFox 142. My company recently rolled out "PSSO" for Mac users, and it works pretty well on non-Microsoft sites. However, when accessing resources behind MS Azure/Entra, such as outlook.com, sharepoint, even github, we get the following error from "login.microsoftonliine.com":

You can't get there from here Your sign-in was successful, but you can't open this resource from this web browser. You might be able to access it from the Safari browser (ask your IT department for a list of approved mobile and desktop applications).

All of these worked fine before PSSO while using Yubikeys (in fact I plan to revert to Yubikey next week).

The IT department says that Mozilla needs to implement this, referencing the "only applies on Windows" statement shown on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/windows-sso . They (and I) have demonstrated that it also works just as intended on Chrome and Edge browsers.

And yet, we see that "Microsoft SSO" was added in FFox 132: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1768724

Who needs to do what to make this work on Microsoft web-apps?

It appears this resolved the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/entra/comments/1etgba7/comment/mnb40ih/ about:config and set network.http.microsoft-entra-sso.enabled to "true"
