Hello. I didn't know until yesterday, that my email account which ends in sbcglobal.net is automatically connected to AT&T and for some reason my email page has changed terribly and NO ONE has helped me there at AT&T! The little square boxes that I used to be able to click on, to REPLY or DELETE or SPAM have disappeared! Anyone know what I can do now?

Can you post a screenshot of the issue and block any personal info? Have you tried Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-4troubleshoot-modesf5safe-modesf

SBC and AT&T have used Yahoo for email for many years. Is your mailbox on a https://____.yahoo.com address?

(It's possible the experience of other Yahoo users will be relevant to your experience, but some aspects might be specific to your ISP.)

Thanks for your email to me...but of course since there are no little boxes like there used to be on my email page, I cannot REPLY directly to you or simply REPLY so I have to send it here.

I have cleared my cache etc. and that has done no good. I guess I will see if the Geek Squad can help me somehow and do a remote access to see what I am talking about. And no, I cannot do this: "Can you post a screenshot of the issue". It won't allow me to do that, like I used to be able to do.

Thanks for your note jscher2000. I just learned yesterday that since my sbcglobal.net is automatically sent thru AT&T / Yahoo. I never knew that. As far as your question asks: "Is your mailbox on a https://____.yahoo.com address?" No. My email is xxxxxxx@sbcglobal.net

And I have used Firefox as my default whatever that is called, and I guess also AT&T / Yahoo for YEARS, but I have NEVER had this problem until a couple months ago...it just began! I have chatted with and called agents with AT&T MANY times and NO ONE can or does help me! Very frustrating!

I will ask the Geek Squad at Best Buy if maybe someone there can do a REMOTE so they can see exactly what I am talking about, since I cannot copy/paste anything to show what I mean.

Can you try the same steps under a different computer account?

I meant the web address of the site where you view your Inbox. If you check the address bar in Firefox while you're viewing your Inbox, it is likely to show a Yahoo server address.

There are two potential issues:

(1) Yahoo changed the site. If you compare in Microsoft Edge, you can see whether it has a different design there as well.

(2) Firefox is not rendering the page correctly.

It would be helpful to see a screenshot, but you cannot paste images directly into this text box. Instead, you first need to save it as an image file to your computer, then you can upload it with your reply using the Browse... button below this text box.

As an example, you can capture the relevant part of the screen using the Screenshot feature. Either

  • right-click > Take Screenshot
  • Ctrl+Shift+S

Use your mouse to draw a rectangle around the part of the page you want to share. The click the blue Download button to save the image as a file on your computer (for example, in your Pictures folder).
