Just discovered a users TB has never updated. It is set to automatically download and install. If I go to help > about TB it shows version but doesn't look for updates and apparently never has. Can I force updates or can I install newer versions without losing their email etc?

Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED

Before anything else make sure to create a full backup of your Thunderbird profile. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile

Thanks for the reply and link... I'm a little sketchy on exactly what to do. The user is currently on 17.0.8 so I would need to run the following versions? 24.8.0 45.8.0 52.9.1 After running these three stay there and hope that autoupdate gets to version 68 and then eventually to 78?
