Private Tab opened directly does not select window

I have firefox pinned to my taskbar. Whenever I right click firefox and open private tab, the private window opens, but isn't selected, and is the last program in my alt tab window, so I can't start typing immediately. Also, sometimes it opens a lot of private tabs in sequence.

How can I make it so that when firefox private window opens, I am actually on the private window?
