Searching the calendar multiple years ahead

Matt replied

Hi,

I would like to know if i can search (google linked) calendar items multiple years ahead?

Example:

On 2-2-20 i add an item in the calendar that repeats itself every 18 months. When i then search that specific item inside the agenda, i would like to see the next couple of dates of that specific item. (02-08-21 / 02-03-23 / 02-09-24 etc.)

Is this possible? Thanks in advance

Hi Robin, I'll offer to help. ☺

Including repeating events in the event finder is part of a list of future enhancements. Currently, there is no date set for when when this will be added, and I'm not sure there is a workaround until then.

I've passed on your feedback, so the calendar team is aware that this this is important to you. If you have any followup questions, please let us know.

Why don't you give it a try?

Well i tried it using the search bar and it did not work, so i ask if there is a way to do this on here

how about checking the month view to see if it appears there. I would guess that the calendars into the future simply do not exist to be searched, only item to be added when they are created.

Thank you for your reply.

I thought so as well so i scrolled to the month/ dates in the future but they do appear there.

Tested it with "never ends" (which is what i want). But also tested it "untill 2030". Both resulting in when scrolling to the dates, it appears. But when searching, it only shows the one on the date i added it into.

What i do noticed on both occasions, the example box dates do not change, i dont know if this is normal or not but seems to me it should change to the different dates. (See the screenshot i added. Its in dutch so ask if i should translate something)

Man you need a PC version

I have a question, what bug are you referring to and where did you place that feedback?
