I have lost my password - there is nothing in the security settings how can I access my e-mail
The new password I created was not accepted in Thunderbird. When I went into tools/security/show password it was there the first time now the list is empty and I cannot get into my e-mails. How can I create a password when I can't even enter the account?

Check with your email provider about password recovery options.
The password is for your email provider's server. You cannot change your account password using Thunderbird.

How can I determine who is my e-mail provider? I have a hotmail.com addresss. Is Microsoft my e-mail provider?
