web page only displayed as thumbnail
When I launch Firefox, the web page is only displayed as a thumbnail just above the task bar. I have tried clicking on "restore" and "maximize" to no effect.

Sometimes a problem causes Firefox to open its window "off screen". Do you sometimes use multiple monitors or an expanded desktop? Firefox may remember an old screen position. Or it could just be confused.
