new mail problem when a filter search is active
When I attempt to write a new message, and a filter search is active, writing something (to address, cc address, object or mail taxt) require some minutes for each mail. Each character of each word appear one by one and also with more seconds of delay. Writing the to and cc address sometime the application isn't available for may seconds. I am using windows 10.

Try this:
Thunderbird Menu: Options: Advanced: General tab Uncheck "Allow Windows Search to search messages" Quit Thunderbird. Restart Thunderbird.
