How do I close the mozilla window without losing the content of the pages (email) I'm viewing?

When I click on gmail in the toolbar, I see gmail on the left side of the screen, but a mozilla search window takes up most of the screen. How do I close this window? I just want to see the (full) page I want to see.

Right-click that Gmail toolbar icon and open Properties. Then un-check Load this bookmark in the sidebar.
