Emails were received OK but on restarting Thunderbird the text on some has become scrambled and seems to relate to other messages. This is the second time this has happened.

Help please. Cannot attach example as text is too long i.e. longer than 10,000 characters.

Right click the folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder.

Thanks Airmail. This worked on the main folder and the bulk of messages but a couple of messages transferred to sub-folders simply seem to have disappeared when the sub-folder was "repaired". Probably I should have moved them back to the main folder.
