Okay I use to go to history in the top menu bar & delete history & now it is not in there at all but when I go to the menu bar & click history it is in there but wont let me delete them what in the world is going on with this browser??/

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.
