I have a very simple web server on my desk using an ESP8266. It has it's own IP address 10.18.2.3 If I enter this url on Firefox on Android it works just great. However when I enter the same url of Firefox on IOS is does nothing and says "No Internet Connection". I already know there is no internet connection and I do not want one. I just want to have Firefox work the same as it does on Android. What settings do I need to change in IOS to make this work ? I am also curious why it shouldn't work on IOS in the first place too. I suppose this applies as much to Firefox on the desktop as it does to iOS, really.

I'm having real trouble with passwords, now that I've moved over from Safari to Firefox & Apple have seen fit to create a standalone Passwords app. (Life was so much simpler before they did that!)

I have the extension installed, but I'm getting mis-matches between the two (or three if you count the phone, meaning: Passwords App, Firefox Desktop & Firefox iOS).

I suppose the way it should work in my head is that when Firefox asks me if I want to save a password, it should save it to the passwords app (although I have no problem if it saves the password into the Firefox preferences too) & when I go to log in somewhere, it should call the password from the passwords app, but it doesn't seem to be doing that, I'm just getting multiple versions of log-ins everywhere.

I just had to reset my Instagram log-in. Firefox generated the password & it's now saved in the Firefox passwords list but it hasn't appeared in the Passwords app.

Shouldn't the extension be keeping them synchronised?

How can I stop firefox from autorefreshed and autoreload the page I am reading in my apple Iphone or on my Ipad. For some pages with lots of advertising is quite annoying.

I deleted my email before deleting my Firefox account.

So, how do I delete my Mozilla account now? Or what do I need to do to send them a legal request to delete my account?

They cannot keep it active for whatever “reasons”, it is illegal in my state. I will be sending a formal legal request if I cannot get this issue resolved in this thread.

Somehow my app is not is Dutch or German (??) and I can’t figure out how to switch it back to English. Please respond with specific screenshots on how to update the language. It’s not in English so I will not be able to make the update without screenshots. I’m using the latest Firefox iOS app. Just updated.

Hallo everybody who wants to help me, A few days ago, YouTube opened a tab in my browser without being asked. How can I stop this? It started with youtube automatically opening the installed app every day. I then uninstalled the app. Since uninstalling it, youtube opens a tab in my firefox every day, which I don't want. All of the shortcuts that Fire Fox created for my oft-used websites stopped working on my iPad. Nothing happens when I select any of them. It may be related to my recent upgrade to iOS 26, but I believe they continued to work for a time after my upgrade.

I upgraded to 143.2 on iOS 26.0.1, but I cannot access any swipe tab gestures, which I assume means I can just swipe left and right in address bar to move between tabs.

I am on an iPad mini. My familysearch.org site just told me to update Firefox. That‘s what I tried to do in following the given link. That link lead me to the apple page to download Firefox. I pushed the download button and assumed it downloaded. But then I miss the install Button. Now I am stuck. My fear is, that your latest update will not work with my IOS-version. And my older iPad is already on its most up-to-date level. Can you help?

Hi I cannot find any way to scan an URL QR code directly from Firefox. I expected that a QR code icon would appear when i tap the address bar, but I can't find such icon...

Of course, I checked the settings: camera is enabled in Firefox settings and QR code scanning is enabled in system settings.

Is there any way to scan QR codes directly from Firefox settings?

I use the latest version of both Firefox (146.1 (65627)) and iOS (iOS 26.3 (23D5089e)) iOS is a beta version... Could this be the reason why...

Publishers clearing house’s advertising is a bunch of con artists and predators that make their apps not work the legit adds are often in the same format as felony advertising I don’t want to be harrassef and abducted onto. browser or app stony a disrespectful predator that never cares what you want and even send adds the opposite of anythyyou could ever be constyand then their apps malfunction

something new is happening where I am opening up a webpage in Firefox to read an article, and my podcast that I'm listening to in the also open podcast app suddenly drops out and music starts playing from an ad on the website, even though I have not yet scrolled far enough down in the article to even see they had much less given it permission to play at me.

Blocking this kind of interference is why I have exclusively used Firefox as my web browser on iOS as well as on my laptop computers. I'm very disappointed to see this and hoping that someone will point out to me a simple change of settings that will keep this kind of random noise pollution at bay.

Firefox is my favorite Browser because I have been able to customize it tremendously so that things do not buzz and blink and pop up at me, nothing flashes, nothing makes noise unless I deliberately permit it. today I caught Firefox for mobile permitting a video to auto play. I opened a webpage to read an article and suddenly realized that my podcast (from a different app) had been interrupted and now sound was coming from this page (clear from the content of the sound). I literally had not even seen the video in question as part of the page because I had not scrolled down far enough to where it was playing already. And when I had the lock screen on, clicking pause did not stop the video. So Video was playing without my permission, and was ignoring the usual rules of iOS.

I certainly had not clicked on the video or seen any setting that allowed the website to autoplay videos.

And this is not the first time it has happened, but it is the first time that I am positive that I did not do anything to permit this behavior, and that it had to have been the browser automatically playing something on the page. I verified that the same website does not auto play video in Safari. This is a bug in Firefox Browser for iOS .... unless there is some new setting in an updated version of the browser that says 'please bombard me with autoplay at times" which by default was switched on in a recent update.
