I use Firefox on Windows to manage Meta Business Suite for my business, Goff Housing Solutions. Facebook, Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager all open normally in Firefox.

The problem occurs when I open the protected Meta Business Portfolio Settings. Meta requires my existing passkey for accounts.meta.com. After I click Continue, Firefox invokes Windows Security, but the only authentication method presented is:

“Security key — Insert your security key into the USB port.”

I have never owned or configured a physical USB security key.

I confirmed that the correct accounts.meta.com passkeys are stored in Apple Passwords on my iPhone. The iPhone can access Meta Business Suite and the protected Business Portfolio Settings normally.

As a control test, I opened the same Meta/Facebook account and the same Goff Housing Solutions Business Portfolio on this same Windows computer using Google Chrome. Chrome opens the protected Business Portfolio Settings successfully.

Therefore, my Meta account, Business Portfolio, permissions, 2FA and existing passkey appear to be working. The problem seems specific to Firefox/Windows passkey handling: Firefox/Windows is treating the authentication request as requiring a physical USB security key rather than offering the existing passkey on my nearby iPhone (for example via QR code/phone authentication).

How can I make Firefox on Windows use my existing accounts.meta.com passkey from my iPhone instead of requesting a physical USB security key?

I do not want to delete/recreate my Meta passkeys, disable 2FA, reset my Meta account, or create a new Business Portfolio because all of those are currently working.

I had two profiles set up in Firefox that are not showing up now after restarting my computer. One I have been using for YEARS. I have hundreds of bookmarked pages and saved passwords that I cannot access now. I also have a second business account that is not showing up anywhere and I need for an extremely important meeting in a half hour. This is disastrous and I do not understand why your browser did this.

Mozilla VPN does not start service on start up as before, nor allow me to start the service on my Dell laptop running Windows 11.

I appear to be signed in and while I can navigate to different areas on the desktop app, it does not allow me to 'turn on' the VPN.

I routinely check out several local news outlets' websites and for the last 2-3 weeks, since a Firefox update (using FF 156.0.1 (64-bit) on Win11, v25H2, Build 26200.9550) I keep getting a Norton popup box saying "we prevented your connection to <x> because it is a malicious website", where 'X' is either littlestastronaut.com, or something like planted.com (screenshots of Norton popup windows doesn't work). This doesn't happen with any of the other couple dozen websites I visit, just 2 out of the maybe 5 or 6 different news websites I look at. Odd thing is I look up either of these two 'dangerous' websites and they either don't exist or they are some school related website. That popup comes after I have to select either "continue without ads" or go to the FF address bar and disable the ad-blocking for that site, so I'm thinking that there's maybe something in FF that is causing this? It happens on both of these sites whether I check "continue without ads" or disable the FF ad-blocker which doesn't make sense that that 'malicious site' is contained within an ad on the news site because on one I don't disable ads so it shouldn't even come through but still Norton catches it??? Yes, A-I will one day rule the world....ya-right.

There is nothing obviously happening with my browser. It doesn't crash when I am using it. But I keep getting, several times/day, the dialog box shown in added images below.

When you go to the "Help and Support" section, a link for transferring data to another device appears. It clashes with the overall design and is annoying. Please remove it.

When I try to download anything in my Mozilla Firefox Browser, it will not download and just says "Failed Download". I even tried to Retry Download and that does not work. My browser is up to date to the most current version. How can I fix this?

I need help recovering my old Firefox Sync data.

I recently formatted my C: drive and installed a fresh Windows installation. My old Firefox profile and local data were on the previous Windows installation.

After reinstalling Firefox, I signed into the same Mozilla account, but I could not find my old Recovery Key. I therefore used the option indicating that I had forgotten/lost the Recovery Key and I reset my Mozilla account password. I was then given a new Recovery Key.

After completing the password reset, I found my original/old Recovery Key.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the old Firefox profile because the C: drive was formatted, and I do not have another device containing the old Firefox data.

I still have the original Recovery Key.

Is there any possibility that my old encrypted Firefox Sync data can still be recovered using the original Recovery Key, or is there any way to restore the data that was associated with my previous Sync encryption key?

The data is very important to me, especially my saved passwords and bookmarks.

I understand the security requirements and can provide any information needed to verify ownership of the account.

Using Mozilla VPN (Flathub version 2.39), Firefox Multi-account Containers won't let me assign a location per container as it did with the APT version - instead, under each container config it just says "Get Mozilla VPN" on a blue button.

But it does use the old config I had (so my old "US" container still exits in the USA, for instance).

This occurred on my old Ubuntu 24.04 system, using Gnome desktop; and also now on my new KDE system (Plasma 6.7.4) even if I tweak "configure permissions" in Discover to allow access to everything.

Any help gratefully received!

My VPN used to work perfectly with my South African sites. Since I've downloaded the new Beta version of Firefox, things have become unstable, and the South African sites - mainly my dictionaries (which I use daily because I'm a translator) - don't work any more.

South Africa is one of the countries on the list, but when I open the VPN now, it says South Africa is unavailable, which had never been the case before.

Please help me sort it out. I can't take screenshots of the problem. When I go to the country list from the VPN, the dialogue box disappears.
