Hello everyone, I manage a website, which focuses on mobile phone prices and SIM package information in Bangladesh. I’ve noticed that the site loads noticeably slower in Firefox than in Chrome, especially on pages with large images (like smartphone price lists). I’ve already optimized the images using WebP and enabled LiteSpeed caching on my server. Are there any Firefox-specific performance recommendations I should try (for example, about image lazy loading or compression settings)? Any advice from developers who’ve optimized for Firefox performance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've read some of the support topics about the super narrow scroll bars in Thunderbird. I did go to: https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/1fz9f5j/comment/lr02b8z/

which was suggested. I did the fix, which helped one problem (the super narrow scroll bar size), but there are no up & down arrows on the scroll bar. This was a really helpful feature. Is there any way to get the arrows back? The screenshot shows how TB looks in Windows 10. That's exactly what I want the scroll bars to look like.

I'm using Thunderbird 140.4.0esr (64-bit) on Linux (Zorin Pro 17) on a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon.

T-Bird one Yahoo of six accts, repetitive “ENTER CREDENTIALS” My T-bird release: 144.0.1 (64-bit) Desktop: WIN 11 Pro – with all updates

For the last few days, I have not been able to obtain emails on my desktop T-Bird for one of my six Yahoo accounts. And, I cannot send any emails from the account

BUT, I can access the target Yahoo email account via my desktop Firefox, via Android T-Bird and via Android/Firefox. And all incoming and outgoing emails are present. Stymied, I changed the Yahoo acct password. After the change, these three work domains perfectly as before. And again, all incoming and outgoing emails are present.

BUT, the repetitive error with my desktop T-Bird for the one Yahoo account persists. The POP-UP provides a long string in the URL window and the only text shows: “Edge: Too Many Requests” >>>>>>>> I’m not using EDGE [Yahoo must use EDGE for the login error POP-UP] The window in the bottom Task Bar displays: “Enter credentials” [repetitively – ad nauseum].

For clarity all six accounts work without encountering "Enter credentials" on the desktop via Firefox, my android via T-Bird app, my android via Firefox. Five of the six work on my desktop T-bird.

I did not add any extensions in the last week. I did disable all extensions (and restarted) with no change in behavior. I put a 25 cent piece on the keyboard to appease the computer gods – no change.

Yup: cleared cache and cookies. Deleted password from desktop T-Bird repository, but the new one is not recorded. Changed authentication from OAuth2 to Normal and back again- no change

You have already solved my problem. I followed the menu to my accounts and while it showed me how to see the passwords it did not tell me how to edit them which was when I searched how to edit passwords Thunderbird explained how I had to hold control and click on the account and as shown the menu appeared. After that I hit the thumbs up and then was sent to this page after I signed into my mozzilla account and asked me ask a question but as I said you have already solved my problem. Hello everyone! I have a slight issue with the website https://anime-bit.ru/ in Firefox on Android. When scrolling down the page, it doesn't load further, and images don't appear. It works fine in Firefox on desktop and in Chrome on Android. I'm not sure whether the problem is with the website or the browser.

I'm on my personal computer and personal account and my "network administrator" (which I don't have) has turned on restricted mode in YouTube so I can't read comments on videos etc. I know I need to change my browser security settings, but I don't know to what exactly. Can anyone help? The restricted mode is infuriating me.

I have an email from "Wells Fargo" that would auto forward to another email. I removed the forwarding to that other email but Thunderbird keeps forwarding that email each time WF sends an update. Do I need to delete the WF filters and restart Thunderbird or is there something deeper that needs to be done? Thanks for your help kenb

When made to change my password by my email provider, instead of deleting my old password in Thunderbird I accidentally deleted the entire saved login (Thunderbird > Settings > Privacy&Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords > then deleted the entire saved login instead of only deleting the old password). When I tried adding my account login back to Thunderbird using “+ New Account”, it gives me an error message that my incoming server already exists. I'm trying to get my old saved login back without doing any more harm. I can still get into Thunderbird but it won't connect to the server (my login credentials now fail). I can still see and read my old emails but it won't retrieve any new emails. Is there a way to get my old login credentials back or re-enter them into Thunderbird? If not, are there files and folders I can copy from my old saved Thunderbird Profile directory into my active Profile directory to be able to login to my account again while keeping my local folders? I saved a lot of my email to my local folders, so I'm hesitant to overwrite my Mail folder (and even my ImapMail folder) for fear of losing my existing folders, especially my local folders.

I recently noticed that my Microsoft account remains active after I sign out if I press the back button. All my personal and account information is still displayed, indicating that the account is still signed in. I even tried clearing all browsing data and history, but that didn't resolve the issue. This doesn't happen with my Gmail account, nor when I access my Microsoft account using Edge or Chrome.

I understand that closing the browser likely signs me out, but I have no way to confirm that unless I check for active devices in my account settings. Can you explain why this timeout issue occurs? It seems odd, especially since Mozilla prioritizes security and privacy.

this is a request. i have maybe 100 tabs open at any one time to support my research projects. i've recently used the group tab function--thank you Mozilla--but now i find a need to go to a group directly. firefox view does not currently support a "sort by group" function. it has sort by recent activity and sort by order, and a general search function. but it would be great if it could also sort by group in firefox view, too. can do? thank you, C Baron
