Firefox Home on your iOS device displays your Shortcuts (frequently and recently visited pages), Your Library, recently visited tabs, recently saved bookmarks and Recommended stories.
You can choose which sections appear on Firefox Home and customize your shortcuts.

Set Firefox Home as your home page

View Firefox Home
To view Firefox Home, you can do so by:
- Tapping on the address bar
- Opening a new tab via the new tab
button in the middle of your toolbar
- Tapping the numeric tab icon in the lower right corner and tapping the new tab
button
If Firefox Home is added to your toolbar, you can just tap the Firefox Home
icon.
- See the following Add Firefox Home to your toolbar section if you wish to replace the new tab
button in the middle of your toolbar with Firefox Home.
Add Firefox Home to your toolbar
By default, your Firefox toolbar has the new tab
button in the middle. You can change this out for the Firefox Home button instead, if you wish.
- Open the Firefox app.
- Tap the menu
button in your toolbar.
- Tap .
- Tap .
- Under the Toolbar Button section, tap .
- Tap < to return to the previous screen, then tap .
The Firefox Home
icon should now appear in the middle of your toolbar.
Customize Firefox Home
- Open Firefox Home and tap the menu button
in your toolbar.
- Tap .
- Tap .
- Tap .
- Tap the switch next to Shortcuts to turn it on (blue) or off (clear).
- Tap the switch next to Sponsored Shortcuts to enable (blue) or disable (clear) sponsored shortcuts.
- Tap Rows to select how many rows of shortcuts you want to see.
- Tap < to return to the previous screen.
- Tap the switch next to Jump Back In to turn it on (blue) or off (clear).
- Tap the switch next to Bookmarks to turn it on (blue) or off (clear).
- Tap the switch next to Stories to turn it on (blue) or off (clear).
Your changes are saved automatically. Return to Firefox Home to see your updated layout.
Recommended stories on the Firefox for iOS homepage is a feature currently available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain.
Remove a Shortcut
If you don't want some of these sites to show up, you can easily remove them from your Shortcuts:
- Tap and hold on the Shortcut you want to remove until a menu appears.
- Tap .
Pin a Shortcut
To make a site stay in your shortcuts:
- Tap the menu button
in your toolbar.
- Tap .
- Tap .
