Recently my Yahoo email was hacked and I am wondering if this might be why. I will have just signed into my Yahoo account, or been reading email for only a couple of minutes when I get a pop-up saying that my session has timed out and asks me to enter my password to sign in again. Since my email breach I do not fill fill in my password....I close the box and go directly to my Mail page and sign in again. Sometimes I have to sign in and sometimes I don't. I am wondering if this is how the hackers got my email password. I'm asking about this in Firefox help because I thought it might be a breach in Firefox somehow since I also get a suspicious, but different, problem in Chrome. Can you tell me how to fix the problem or if it is not Firefox related? I'm on Window 7, fully up-to-date. Firefox version 13.0.1

Hi,

Please see this.

On another note, after updating Firefox to 14.0.1 you can consider the Reset Firefox feature via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information and start afresh.

(To revert to the previous profile, close the new profile, start Firefox and choose the *.default profile. While the Profile Manager is open, you can also delete the newly reset profile (the one containing random numbers)).

Most users can resolve this issue by changing their proxy setting in Firefox. Please see this thread: I am able to log in to Yahoo mail but it keeps asking me for my password every 2 or 3 mins.
