Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thank you for taking the time to help me with this issue. I restarted Firefox in Safe Mode and went back to http://www.thedailyshow.com/ . The video problem persists: Only the advertisement video works, not actual video clips from the show.
