First off, what OS are you using, and how did you update and from what.

So Firefox doesn't automatically open PDFs but it can be set to open those the browser has in it's perview. On Windows for example PDFs on the hard drive can be opened by the app chosen by Windows Ubuntu likewise. The 150.0.2 is similar to my Debian/RaspberryPi which has just been updated to 150.0.2-1

So a) what PDfs, those on line or those on your device. b) If you have any other updates, automatic or otherwise one of those could have altered your settings.

UPDATE: Currently using my Win11 with Fx 150.0.3 and both sources, on line and off line open in Fx
