Got a new pc.. Tried signing into Firefox.. Asked me for 2 step verification.. No idea where the app or backup keys are.. Im still signed in on my phone tho.. Anyway to disable 2 step? I tried through my phone and its taking me to same page where i need 2 step authentication.

Hi

Two-step authentication adds extra security to your Mozilla account by making it harder for someone else to sign in to your account.

If you have a device still signed in to your account, you can use that device to disable two-factor authentication, so you can sign in to your account without two-step authentication. You can use that device to disable two-step authentication:

  • Go to https://accounts.firefox.com and sign in.
  • Under Security, click the Disable button next to Two-step authentication.
  • Click the Disable button in the Disable two-step authentication prompt.
