Sending email using TB via Yahoo slow and unreliable

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but in the last 3-6 months sending email from TB using Yahoo SMTP server is very slow and fails completely one out of three times. If I keep trying it eventually works without me having to make any changes.

My SMTP configuration is using port 465, OAuth2, SSL/TLS. Is that wrong?

I've been using Yahoo for a very long time without any problems but changing to OAuth2 seems to have slowed things down.

I have a fast internet connection and nothing else is causing any issues.
