Hi there,

From your user agent, it looks like you're using MacOS 10.10. To get newer Firefox versions, you'll have to upgrade your system. For reference, see Firefox Mac OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11 users move to Extended Support Release.

The web whatsapp site appears to be looking for Firefox 115 and later.

If your hardware allows you to update your macOS on your Mac App store to 10.12 or newer then you can be able to run Firefox 115 ESR. You may need to use Safari to check on the App store.

If that is not possible then you can try to change your Firefox version number to fool the web whatsapp site.

  • In a new tab, type or paste about:config (with a colon) in the location (address) bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
  • In the search box in the page, type or paste forceVersion and pause while the list is filtered
  • Double-click the network.http.useragent.forceVersion preference to display an editing field, and change the value to 115 or 128 or 140 then press Enter/Return or click the blue check mark button to save the change.
