Hard to help with something we cannot see... Provide steps to replicate the issue and post screenshot showing what you see in Firefox and other browsers. Try with a sample document that we can also access. Let me go open a Google doc for S&Gs... Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search Did you clear your browser cache? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox What OS? If windows, what security software besides MS Defender are you running? What version of Firefox?
