No sound on browser only. None of the listed Firefox troubleshooting steps solved it. My system sounds and media player sound are working but nothing from the browser on any websites. This just started yesterday. Re-setting Firefox did not fix the problem.

No screenshot received. No sound on any Youtube or streaming music service on Firefox or Edge. System sounds and music stored on my computer play fine. Try reset and new driver for the sound card. No love.

Can you post a screenshot like mine?

Don't know how this will solve my problem but here's the image requested. Hoping next Firefox update will fix the issue. Considering "Restoring" to an earlier Restore Point as a fix.

How do I get to that location? I went to Settings->System->Sound and not seeing the same image. Are you using Win10? I finally got the YT sound after doing a Restore.

I'm in Win11. Glad to hear you resolved the issue, but you should be able to get to the same location. This is popular on the site.

I have my work laptop which is Win10, let me check.

This one is from right clicking on the "speaker in the lower right of taskbar->Open Sound settings? It looks a lot different than what you posted though. Not sure what your looking for, but I wasn't able to fix mine until I went back to a previous "Restore Point". Which was a labor intensive run around back door solution. There must be a better way, good luck.
