I use Win10 Firefox 153.0 x64 on my laptop, and any time I select a menu, the background is transparent, so I can't see the actual menu options, I have to guess what they say when selecting them. Please either fix this, or tell me how to fix this.

This is probably more a suggestion than a question.

In the "Home" section of the settings under "Firefox Home Content" there are two different settings for creating shortcuts for pages you visit - one under the choice of "Shortcuts" (on/off) and then just below that there is another choice for "Recent Activity" (on/off) with a sub-menu (on/off) choice for "Visited Pages".

I realize these are two different things (logo thumbnail for the first/webpage images for the second). But I find it not only redundant, but since I don't want to clutter my home page with recent visits, and I only chose the first shortcut setting, every time I visit a site, that is now added to the icons that I HAVE chosen. And worse, when I delete one, a new one pops up in its place, sometimes four or five or more times, whether I "Dismiss" or "Delete from history".

It seems to me that there should be a choice for "Sites visited" in the Shortcuts choice or not include that at all.

The only way to s top it is to fill up the rows. I'm getting there but until I do, I keep fighting with these new shortcuts popping up on their own.

When I go into Meetup.com to logon to my account the captcha function doesn't work and the LOG IN button does not enable. Before the last update it worked fine (My current version is 153.0.1). I contacted Meetup and they tell me the problem is in the browser. I am running an old version of Firefox on my Windows 7 laptop and the captcha works fine, I am able to Log on using Firefox on my laptop. Something is wrong with the last Firefox update.

My Google gmail icon disappeared a few days ago. I can't get into my email. I have had to go into the firefox icon. I just answered yes to making firefox my browser. Now what???????? I still need to get into my gmail.

The VIEW tab in my Firefox will/can read some links and articles to me. It is wonderful.Choosing 'READER VIEW' in the VIEW tab. But some it does not. I'm hoping some AI will have this feature.- speaking it to me. Thanks.

In trying to re-install Firefox, I got to where they sent a security code to bru..... This is my son who was else where and busy so the time limit hit and I was dropped. Now how do I restart?

As the title says, with both with https and http firefox displays this warning:

But no way to bypass it, trying to login to my ubiquiti edgerouter at http://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1

What can i do?

i am currently using firefox 153.0. can i restore firefox windows- and tab-structure as in sessionstore.jsonlz4 from a previous.jsonlz4 originating from a previous firefox version?

I have windows 10. Every time I download a file and then go to open it, I get "File Download-Security Warning" this is new and never got that before. How do i eliminate the warning . This only happens when using Firefox..Chrome works fine. I have tried everything and changed more setting in the registry that i can count and have asked Perplexity and Grok plenty of questions with no positive results.

The browser brings the log in interface and when log in credentials are submitted, the attached page response appears. Kindly help resolve as there are tasks that urgently need my attention.

Hey, I recently started using the Firefox browser, and I have a lot of websites. Sometimes I manage my websites on firefox for the last 1, 2 weeks, whenever I open my website https://manatoki.click/, it sometimes shows a 404 error: site doesn't exist.

It doesn't happen every time but sometimes this issue comes. Then if I open the website again in a new tab, it opens fine. This only happens with Firefox for me. Why is this happening? Is it a host or server connectivity issue, or should I just ignore it?
