1) The tab CNTRL (for ex. ) has started to make the page view smaller automatically. So some standard keyboard shortcuts including CNTRL tab (for ex. CNTRL + C/A/V....) can´t be used efficently as the pages goes to mini size as soon as you press CNTRL longer. I do know how to get it back ot 100% - but this takes too much time. ==ANNOYING!

2) Some other peculiarities have also appeared when trying to use for ex. library book list tools, they refuse to open up the search arrows a.s.o. I have no such problems on other browsers. I have not hade time to look further in these problems instead I use the browsers that work better.

Can I get rid of these new settings from Mozilla FF Thanks for the trouble of answering!

You can set mousewheel.with_*.action prefs like mousewheel.withcontrol.action (on Mac mousewheel.with_meta.action) to 0 on the about:config page to prevent their default action if the Ctrl/Command key is pressed.

Note that zooming by rotating the mouse wheel with Ctrl pressed adjusts the zoom in 10% changes starting with the current zoom value.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

Hi PiaHalsti, the "zoom" keyboard shortcuts have not changed:

  • Ctrl++ => enlarge
  • Ctrl+- => reduce
  • Ctrl+0 => reset to 100%

But Ctrl+c, Ctrl+a, etc., should not affect zoom.

The Ctrl key does interact with the mouse scroll wheel. If you hold Ctrl and roll the wheel away from you or toward you, that will enlarge/reduce the text.

If Firefox behaves oddly in relation to your keyboard and/or mouse, and exiting out of Firefox and starting it up again does not help, please try shutting down Windows and start it up again.

If the problem occurs again. there might be a new incompatibility with your keyboard/mouse software.
